Woodson County is located in Southeast Kansas. A short drive to many attractions and large cities. The communities within its boundaries are Yates Center, Toronto, Neosho Falls and Piqua. Home to Cross Timbers State Park, Woodson State Lake and Yates Center Reservoir, Woodson County is a great county to fish, hunt and just enjoy the outdoors. As of April 2020, the population of Woodson County was 3,115. The county covers approximately 504 square miles.

Scenic Woodson County is an artist’s dream. No matter what the season, Woodson County’s peaceful back roads and byways, with their awe inspiring beauty, beckon nature lovers, photographers and artists alike.
